Reddout’s Travels
We were recently with Pastor Larry Youngblood in Vacherie, LA. What an exciting church. We had the joy of training a Missions Awareness Team for them. It was such a thrill to work with them. Some new ideas of how to communicate with our MAT members came out of this meeting. What a great group to work with. Pastor Larry, you are to be envied!
Just the week end before, we were with Gene Emswiler. He is the Pastor of Three Rivers Assembly of God in Moss Point, MS. He also serves as the Assistant Superintendent of the Mississippi District and the District Missions Director. I was able to spend some time with him as we discussed some dreams and visions for the Mississippi District.
The Sunday night after we were with Pastor Gene, we were with Pastor Keith Kirkwood, Magnolia Springs Assembly in Hurley, MS. What a wonderful congregation. I failed to get pictures. (Pastor I need to come back.) The Sunday night we were with them, we celebrated communion. For us who travel so much, this was a special time. After service, Sherlene and I met with their Missions Committee. This group has it together. I look forward toward working with them.
So much is happening in our lives. Between now and Dec, we will be in Tennessee, New Mexico, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Our Sunday am schedule for next year is beginning to fill. I just booked the weekend of March 21st. We continue to be excited about the challenge. The joy of developing teams to fulfill the great commission is exhilarating. What a joy to be able to participate in the great commission.
Thanks for your prayers for us. We are 76% of the way through our budget raising! You have been so faithful in your financial support and prayers. We are approaching 65 thousand miles of travel since we started this journey. God has protected us and continues to give us the strength. Each week we are amazed at God's goodness.
If you are receiving this and would like to support this ministry, you can do so by going to this site and filling in the blanks, or just send me an email.

Keep us in your prayers. 4 Billion people in our world still have not received an adequate witness of Jesus! But together, those who Go, those who Pray, and those who Give, Together HIS church is making a difference in our World!

I believe this will be the beginning of something God can use in providing laborers for the harvest. It is TIME to Harvest!
Tommy Carpenter, Arkansas District Missions Director / Secretary Treasurer, was with us for both the Monday night and the Tuesday morning session. What a powerful message he brought on Tuesday morning. We will all remember Timbo, AR. and David Campbell. What a challenge!
So on we go with the journey of life. Thanks for those who have helped us climb a littler higher up budget mountain. My records have us at 72.5%. Every $ helps. If you make a once a year commitment, our budget could use the additional cash.
We are excited about what God is doing .. we look forward to being with Joey Reppond in Placquimine, LA this week end and then with Gene Emswlier in Moss Point, MS and Keith Kirkwood in Hurley, MS the week end of Sept 6th ..
just think... HE may come today and all our travels will be over!

Almost September
I am sure you are different than I am, but I seem to always want what I do not have. I want it warm when it is cold and cold when it is hot. Paul said he was content wherever he was! Wow .. what an accomplishment! At least I have a goal to work towards!
General Council was great and tiring! Sherlene and I worked in the Missions Awareness Exhibit and the Eurasia Experience. What an incredible journey.
This is such a day of challenge and opportunity. The challenge: Approximately 4 Billion still need to hear! The Opportunity: Over 1000 have responded to the call to "give a year, pray about a life time' since last Dec 31-Jan 1st World Missions Summit! God is indeed doing something awesome among young adults in our church family. They are responding by the hundreds, going to some most difficult places, believing God can change a nation. And the stories we hear, the miracles of God's power and love. Some plant, some water, God is giving the increase!
Since General Council we have made a quick trip to Plainview, TX to visit Sherlene's mother.
This week end we will be in Bradley, AR. with Olan (Gladney) Hunt. I am really looking forward to being with these friends. Aug 30 with Joey Reppond in Placquemine. Sept 6 with Gene Emswiler, Three Rivers Assembly Pasagoula, MS and with Keith Kirkwood at Magnolia Springs in Hurley, Ms.
Just before General Council, we were with Mike Brown at Hwy 326 Tabernacle in Kuntze, TX. It was good to see them at General Council. What a wonderful service we had with them. We also were with Pastor Stephen Perry at Glad Tidings in Lake Charles. What an awesome church.
So the journey goes on! 182,000 plus on the odometer. It doesn't look so good, but the gas mileage is pretty good, its paid for, and it rides good. So we travel on telling others about what our God is doing in this world. Our budget is at 72% and we need to be finished by the end of Oct. Please join with us in prayer that this challenge will be complete by then. If you have not signed a commitment form and would desire to partner with us, click on this link and fill in the blanks. We really need your help now. $20, $30, $50 per month makes a big difference.
For those of you who have partnered with us, thanks so much for your faithful giving. Your support is enabling us to help churches do more than ever before in providing funds in reaching our world for Christ.

Traveling in July 2009
See I like Skype! Not only does it allow you to talk and see, it helps to connect and advance the kingdom. Isn’t technology good?
This month and the next are really challenging months for us in raising our budget. Just this week, I received a notice from a church that they were no longer going to be able to support us. These are difficult times and yet they are exciting times. Elijah was provided for in the midst of an economic recession! I am more convinced now of the Lord's leading, than when we began this phase of our journey. As a result of training Missions Awareness Teams, churches have doubled their giving to missions. What a thrill to see the Lord work in the midst of our churches.
What a wonderful day to be serving our Lord. Our trust is in HIM and HE is always Good!

Summer of 2009
This is not a day for retreat but for advancement! The challenges of today should motivate us to advance! As the Church we must run to the darkness!
When I meet with our Hero's, I find we are! When a calamity occurs, Convoy of Hope, World A/G Relief and our 'boots on the ground' people respond! In challenging places, people are there with their care, their love. Randy Hurst reminded us that some sow, some water, it is God who gives the increase, and there are some who break up the ground to make it ready for the seed. These hero's are seldom seen and less is heard about them, but they are there, slowly, painfully, and persistently preparing the soil for the seed. Because of them the harvest will come.
So in this day, let us rejoice in the harvest HE is sending. Because of the faithfulness of the church in breaking up the ground, in planting the seed, in watering, and God bring the Harvest! Expect it!
Our Travels this month have taken us from All Nations Fellowship with Pastor Anthony and Melanie Freeman in New Orleans. What an exciting Church!
I just had to drive by Filippin, AR, Dad preached a revival here when I was about 5 years old. Mom told me a lady received the Holy Spirit in a Blackberry patch during that revival. The church has moved and the building is a business, but the seeds Dad planted are still bringing a harvest!
Each year during the Missionary Renewal, we meet with our Missionaries for a Dinner.
